At From The Hart Counseling Services, you will be met with a warm and comforting space where you are encouraged to be your authentic self. When it comes to building the therapeutic relationship, we value taking a gentle approach by utilizing strength-based and trauma-informed care. At From The Hart, we are trained in a variety of therapeutic techniques, allowing us to assist you in identifying and processing various patterns, traumas and beliefs that may be hindering your growth.
Additionally, our clinical training includes Sand Tray Therapy, Play Therapy and Expressive Arts, and EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). In collaboration with your therapist, you will develop and explore a personalized treatment approach based on your specific needs and goals. I am trained in various therapy techniques and we will collaboratively determine which modality is best based on your specific needs and goals. I commonly help clients navigate their traumas, relationships, mental health symptoms and build healthier coping skills. Talk-Therapy (psychotherapy)
Psychotherapy (also called talk therapy) refers to a variety of treatments that aim to help a person identify and explore troubling emotions, thoughts, and behaviors.
Expressive Arts
Expressive arts therapy is a technique utilized to process experiences, understand emotions, and improve well-being through artistic processes. Expressive arts can include activities such as painting, drawing, and many other artistic outlets.
Sandtray Therapy
Sandtray therapy is a technique that uses a tray of sand along with small tools, toys, or figurines that allow people to process and express themselves without words. Sandtray therapy can be utilized to explore a multitude of topics including self-esteem, long-term goals, and anxiety.
EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and PTSD symptoms (National Institute of Health).
Individual Therapy - $130 per 50 min session
Couples Therapy - $130 per 50 min session
Family Therapy - $130 per 50 min session
EMDR Therapy - $150 per 50 min session
We currently do not accept insurance. Accepted forms of payment include credit, debit, and cash. Online payments are accepted through a secure electronic health record system. Payment is due at the time of service. A Good Faith Estimate will be provided upon request.
